1. Make sure that your story is in a standard 12 point font.
2. Your name should NOT appear on the manuscript or in the file name of the document you submit.
   
3. Before you enter, ask yourself if this story is fiction. Fiction is NOT a true story. It is a made up story from your imagination. If your story is a true story, something that actually happened to you or a report based on fact, it belongs in the non-fiction category.
